About The Event

What is network effect?

Between supply and demand, which side of market should be prioritized during the Cold Start?

How to boostrap a minimal viable network?

Our upcoming book club event is on The Cold Start Problem by Andrew Chen!

In this book club, we will teardown the success and strategies of "network effect" into different stages - Cold Start, Tipping Point, Escape Velocity, the Moat. Many successful tech products in the last decades are marketplace. We will come across familiar stories such as Uber, Instagram, Zoom, Airbnb, Tinder etc and understand how they successfully boostrapped the marketplace and built network effects as a moat.
