With the booming Asian economy, more global companies are interested in business opportunities in Asia. There are drastic differences between Eastern and Western users in terms of language, cognitive styles, and cultures. This talk provides an overview of the culture difference between Asia (especially China) and the Western world, and discusses further the implication of these differences on user interface design, communication, and business operation.
