COVID-19 Relief Joint Effort
During the pandemic, Product Pub, as a community, has always believed that we need to protect our health care workers as they are confronting the rise in COVID-19 cases and saving lives. The PPE shortage could make it harder to flatten the curve of new cases if our front-line health care workers don’t feel safe or get infected.
In the past months, the Product Pub community has contributed donations in the amount of $21,072.61.
We were able to purchase 42 bunny suits, 2320 shoe covers, 6600 isolation gowns, 400 N95 masks, 1400 bouffants, 12000 gloves in total.
All the PPEs were distributed by our partner donateppe.org to various healthcare facilities including but not limited to:

Donate PPE

Donate PPE was formed in March 2020 in emergency response to the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers facing COVID-19. Founder Deyu Kong, an engineer from the Bay Area, partnered with Dr. Karen Tsai from Los Angeles to organize a team of over 30 volunteers whose mission is to connect communities with spare protective gear like masks, gloves, gowns, sanitizer, and more to hospitals that need them most.
Donate PPE’s hospital database makes it easy for hospitals and healthcare workers to enter the exact protective equipment they need. Donors can search the database by location to deliver equipment efficiently. In less than two weeks DonatePPE has connected over 100,000 PPE articles with healthcare workers across the United States.
Donate PPE is partnering with corporate donors like Ford Motor Company, Flexport, Citizens of Humanity, and NIO-US to source and distribute supplies of PPE across hard hit areas such as New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and the Bay Area.
